Grower in the inner-M25 of London looking to sell c.2 tonnes of Chardonnay 78, from 0.345ha of land. The vines are professionally managed and are in Year 3 of production. The grower is willing to sell the fruit as sparkling fruit for £2.5k/t (negotiable), or to drop some fruit and hold some on the vine for still wine production for £3k/t.
Owing to the relative juvenility of the vines, there isn’t a vast amount of historic yield data. Last year, the vines achieved 83°oe and 9.5g/l TA. The soils are alluvial and the fruit is picked into Dolavs.
